Project Overview
A shop floor is a point of view.
The Nest carries more than twenty-five Egyptian makers across two Cairo shops, in Zamalek and Mohandessin. A concept store is a curator before it is a catalogue, and an ordinary product grid flattens exactly the judgement people come for.
The storefront is organised the way the shops are, by room and by maker rather than by product type, so the selection reads as chosen rather than stocked.
Furniture, table and serving ware, jewellery, lighting and plants sit in one catalogue the team extends themselves as makers come and go.
